Resumen / Abstract

La evolución tecnológica y la creación de nuevas herramientas han provocado un cambio en los medios de comunicación y en sus modelos informativos. Aparece un nuevo fenómeno denominado periodismo ciudadano, en el que personas anónimas, gracias a sus smartphones, fotografían, graban o suben información a Internet y las redes sociales que se propaga en cuestión de segundos, adelantándose a los medios tradicionales. Esto les ha obligado a reestructurarse y adaptarse a la nueva forma de consumir información. Pero en la actualidad, estamos viendo un nuevo cambio, estas nuevas herramientas son implementadas en las redacciones y son utilizadas por los propios reporteros. No sólo para informar a través de las redes sociales sino para realizar su trabajo. Los reporteros entran en directo en programas o informativos sin más ayuda que la de su teléfono móvil. Todo ello permite un ahorro de costes y una mayor celeridad a la hora de informar desde cualquier punto del planeta, por lo que son muchos medios de comunicación los que están sustituyendo las formas tradicionales de envío por estas nuevas herramientas.

Technological developments and the emergence of new equipment have changed the media and the news models. One of the most obvious consequences was the democratization of information with the so-called citizen journalism. Anonymous persons who through their mobile and social networks can report what is happening in seconds and with just one click in their mobile phone. But after this step, we are seeing a new change, these media are also beginning to be used smartphones by the reporters themselves not only to inform through social networks but to do their work, photographers take photos with the mobile phone camera and journalists have live signals without help or another tool than their mobile phone. This allows cost savings to the environment and greater speed when reporting from anywhere of the planet so many media that are pointing to change the traditional tools for these new ones.
