Presentation

Currently, higher education institutions are used as support for the teaching of virtual campuses, as an extension of their physical campus. The teaching models of face-to-face universities move towards mixed modalities (mixed learning), which require an important vision and institutional support due to their strategic and organizational selection. Therefore, the Virtual Campus has become a key piece, not only in educational institutions, but also in companies, where they enable professional retraining and continuous training; and in society in general, as the instrument for collaboration, extension, knowledge transfer and learning throughout life. The IX International Campus Virtual Seminars (JICV'19) are organized by Universidad del Cauca (Colombia) and the Campus Virtual University Network, and are held in Popayán (Colombia) on April 28-30, 2019.
