Big Data para optimizar las decisiones estratégicas de los destinos turísticos. Estudio de caso: Málaga

Resumen


Uno de los elementos clave de las organizaciones que gestionan los Destinos Turísticos es tener la información necesaria para la toma de decisiones estratégicas, lo que supone varios procesos complejos de recolección y análisis de fuentes diversas con la exigencia de su calidad e inmediatez, especialmente importantes si se referencian al customer journey del turista, en un ecosistema digital que requiere la capacidad de gestionar cantidades ingentes de datos (Big Data).
Ante esta dificultad, el poder disponer de herramientas tecnológicas que optimicen este Big Data es, sin duda, una de las necesidades principales de los destinos turísticos en la actualidad.
Esta investigación analiza esta situación atípica que supone poder disponer de las herramientas que aportan la información necesaria y aplicarla en la toma de decisiones por parte, en este caso, de los destinos turísticos.
