Campus Virtuales (ISSN: 2255-1514) is a scientific journal of multidisciplinary research regarding the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. It has been created with a twofold aim, to gather researchers’ personal experiences and of institutional virtual campus as well.

The different sections in the journal, mainly focused on research, contain monographs on topics related to the field, as well as experiences, suggestions, ideas, platforms, reviews, information to promote discussion and debate among the scientific community and professional on-line training. Researchers also count on a scientifically qualified forum in the journal where they can share opinions, critical views, reflect on the issue or discuss about the state of the question so as to promote the professionalization of educational technology.

Campus Virtuales accepts articles from the scientific community (universities, higher education centres) and from educational ICT professionals worldwide, but especially in Latin America, Spain and Portugal. The journal is published by the Campus Virtuales University Network, a non-for-profit educational organization composed by Latin American professionals and university researchers, working since 2012. This network works on developing e-learning in the educational institutions and on the journal Campus Virtuales as well.
