Presentation

Currently, Higher Education Institutions develop their teaching supported by Virtual Campus and these have become even more relevant during the health emergency derived from COVID-19. In this way, new teaching-learning scenarios have been supported in tele-teaching platforms due to emergency teaching. Therefore, the X International Conference on Virtual Campus will pay special attention to these new educational scenarios, as well as the adaptation of face-to-face teaching to virtual or remote teaching, online assessment processes, data protection, technological platforms, the increase in data traffic, the re-dimensioning of virtual campus systems, streaming and videoconferencing systems, virtual and remote laboratories, the adaptation of face-to-face practices to online practices as well as business practices and telework, among other situations derived from teaching adaptation to the health emergency.

Likewise, the X International Conference on Virtual Campus pursues, as in previous editions, the objective of consolidating the international and multidisciplinary community that works for the development of virtual teaching in institutions. The work areas range from educational innovation, quality assurance systems, technological infrastructure and development of support tools, design, development, and publication of digital educational content and courses, teacher training, students, managers and technicians, virtualization and internationalization of the teachings, openness to society through collaborations with companies and organizations, among other areas of growing interest for this community.

The X International Conference on Virtual Campus (JICV'20) is organized by the Abdelmalek Essaadi University, the University Network of Virtual Campus, and the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Education Society. These days will be held in Tetouan (Morocco) on December 3-5, 2020.
